Kristin Faust, MS, RD, LDN

Managing Editor

Kristin Faust received her bachelor's degree in Food Science & Human Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). She went on to complete her dietetic internship at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She came back to her alma mater to get her master's in Nutritional Sciences where she examined specialized nutrition formula's role in children with compromised gastrointestinal health.

In addition to being the Managing Editor for the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, Kristin has two additional positions. She combines work at Illinois Nutrition Education and Training Program (NET) and as an Assistant Dietetic Didactic Program Director at UIUC. Through her role at NET, she enjoys providing presentations to child care facilities and schools about development of healthy, active curriculum and marketing nutritious school meals. As an Assistant Program Director, she helps assess student learning outcomes for accreditation standards, advising students, and developing program & website content.

When she is not at work, Kristin enjoys family, reading, yoga, and gardening.
