The April 2017 issue of the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior carried a Research Brief titled Design and Evaluation of a Training Protocol for a Photographic Method of Visual Estimation of Fruit and Vegetable Intake among Kindergarten Through Second-Grade Students (JNEB 2017;49:346-351. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jneb.2017.01.004). In the Results section, the sentence “In training 1, for the measurement variable of amount of FV served (in cups), the ICC was 0.43 (fair) (P < .05); for the percentage of FV consumed, the ICC was 0.89 (substantial) (P < .05)” is also incorrect. It should read “In training 1, for the measurement variable of amount of FV served (in cups), the ICC was 0.43 (fair) (P < .05); for the percentage of FV consumed, the ICC was 0.88 (substantial) (P < .05)”.
In Table 2, some of the values were incorrect. In the “Training 1” column, “Fruits and vegetables consumed” should be “0.88* (0.73 to 0.96)”; “Fruits consumed (%)” should be “0.98* (0.93 to 1.00)”; and “Vegetables consumed (%)” should be “0.97* (0.85 to 1.00)”. In the “Training 2” column, “Amount of fruits and vegetables served (cups)” should be “0.89* (0.79 to 0.95)” and “Amount of vegetables served (cups)” should be “0.85* (0.69 to 0.94)”. See below for the corrected table.
Significant at P < .05.
