Integrating social justice in higher education has never been more important, and
Promoting Social Justice Through The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning is a guide to do so. This book gives an introduction to the Scholarship of Teaching
and Learning (SoTL) and showcases the importance of including social justice in SoTL
to cultivate advocates and empathetic professionals. Although this text does not provide
examples in nutrition and dietetics, many of the teaching and learning activities
can easily be modified for any nutrition curriculum.
