and well-organized approach. The focus of the book is on social determinants specific
to Canada, but the book does include international examples and references. International
examples are limited to Canada, US, UK, and Australia, and the author contrasts and
compares multiple levels of influence and social determinants, including social, economic,
and political, across these countries.
