      The training and education of future registered dietitian nutritionists are necessary to promote and advance the skill set of the practitioner. The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) is the accrediting agency for nutrition and dietetics education programs which provides the required standards and learning elements that train students to become dietitians.
