How to Submit New Resources for Review in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior

If you are an author, publisher, or developer of a new book, curriculum, brochure, Web site, DVD, or any other nutrition education material that you think would be of interest to JNEB's readers, please e-mail a title and brief description to reviewseditor@jneb.org. Or you may just send a copy for consideration to:

Rachel Daeger, Executive Director
Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior
3502 Woodview Trace, Ste. 300
Indianapolis, IN 46268

Anyone can submit a resource for potential review in JNEB. Part of JNEB's mission is to provide its readers with accurate and timely reviews of nutrition and health related materials for personal or professional selection and recommendation. Our readers are interested in books, textbooks, booklets, storybooks, curricula, Web sites, audiovisuals, or other materials that may be useful to nutrition education professionals.

Materials that have been discussed in already published GEMs are also welcome. GEMs provide authors with an opportunity to present development and outcome information, whereas a review by another educator provides additional perspectives for potential users.

Materials must be accessible at the time the material is submitted for potential review, i.e. available to be ordered, purchased or downloaded. Unless requested by the publisher, the reviewer will keep the material reviewed as a courtesy for their time. If the publisher wishes to have the material back after review, they must pay for shipping.
